Of course it's not worth it.

You can tank and clear t9 with the ilv95 Allagan Blade, with Burtgang being already overkill pretty much. If you enjoy doing the quest do it, the skin looks nice i guess and you'll be able to upgrade it in the future, but if you don't enjoy the time sink then don't do it.
