    some gardening questions

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, but I figured it's related enough to gathering.

    1. I was wondering what "TwoWay" and "Loop" means on the ffxivgardening website document?

    2. I am guessing I plant the (adjacent) plant first, then the (harvested) plant next to it so when I harvest the (harvested) plant, the seeds should then materialize? Or is it the other way around?

    3. Do I have to wait for both plants to be fully grown before harvesting and successfully obtaining seeds?

    Thanks so much!

You know what's so overpowered in this game, that they just HAD to leave out?

    1. AFAIK, TwoWay means that x->y and y->x are both valid intercrosses. Loop means that the plant or it's neighbor will yield it's own seeds, and thus you can keep growing it.
    2. The 'harvested plant' needs to be next to the 'adjacent plant'. (The 'adjacent plant' needs to be planted first.)
    3. Nope. Whichever finishes first. You can simply fertilize one more than the other to affect this, but it's tedious.

Thanks for the tremendous help! And just so I am clear, for question 1, does the TwoWay mean that the harvested plant could be planted first as well and the adjacent plant would yield the seeds instead of the other way around? Thanks!

"TwoWay" (now "Reversible" btw) means that the "harvested plant" will yield seeds, whether first or second. Order does not matter.

But it does not mean that the "adjacent plant" necessarily produces the same seeds.
