Why not ? Yeah, rule state you should only reply to a GM.
But if you are behind the screen doing manual control, i don't see why ignore the wisp and let other player think you are a bot. It's just being polite.
As for trade windows, i usually leave 1 gold piece and ask politly to find a job![]()
This is exactly what we talked about yesterday. People use the /busy for avoiding rmt tells. I do it my self, /busy does not mean it's an rmt. Just because they are there for days does not mean it's an rmt. Maybe the same time you play they play and they just happen to be on every time you go into that area. This asinine witch hunt has gotten a little out of hand.
Like one of the above posters listed bots are pretty easy to hunt down if they are bots. /busy does not mean its a bot. Being in one area for a long time does not mean bot. Most bots follow specific paths and do specific things too tip you off. Quite frankly I don't give a crud about them as long as they are not trying to send me tells to buy there bs.
You don't get rid of the sellers by banning bots you get rid of them buy banning the people that buy the gil. No customers no merchants.
He probably mean afk, not busy. Like this :
I could be wrong, but i don't think you can normaly keep the afk tag while moving arround.
This is 100% correct. This is one of the many ways to detect a bot.
They don't need to accept the trade but, a bot will just sit in one spot and since they are targeted you can see what they target. So if you have them in a trade and the targets keep rapidly switching that is a bot. As long as that trade window is up that bot will not go any place. As soon as you close the trade window that bot will continue is selected tasks.
Farming wind sprites behind the windmills? Yep, got one on my server too. There for days. The busy symbol stops /tells and /trades and means the bot program can't be interfered with. :/
thats why /afk is useless so better use /busy so u cant stop the bot from moving about
