I remember the first day I noticed the red moon was slightly bigger than normal. At that point we didn't even know they where planning to do it.
At 1.20 we started to notice something was wrong.
At 1.21 we nearly shat ourselves.

I remember you originally posting that forever ago. I remember seeing Dalamud in 1.20 and freaking out over it, lol. I've never have and probably never will again feel that same feeling of impending doom. Such a damn good ending.

And If you haven't seen and heard, here is the Distant Worlds live concert of Answers.

It would be amazing to see this live at Fan Fest.

I hope they give us another powerful went like this. I'd kill for something happening now yet no one can see it until we're thrown off guard. I too regret not being there for this.
There was an offhand comment made about doing something similar to the 1.0->2.0 transition for 2.0->3.0. If it were so, I would be extremely happy, since I absolutely loved the way that event played out in 1.x. That being said, they're kind of running out of time. The 1.0->2.0 transition worked so well because it was gradual, and went almost without notice from patch to patch. It took from 1.20 to 1.23(c) to fully complete the event. Meanwhile, it seems like a good estimate that 3.0 will occure after 2.5. This is due to the fact that we know that there will only be one more turn of Coil (2.4) and the World of Darkness is the last CT (2.5). Now, it's very possible they will surprise us with a Command Room of the Binding Coil or something like that and include a 2.6, but chances are low. That means if they are going to implement an epic story told over several patches that leads up to 3.0, they're kind of out of time. They could probably still pull it off by making changes in the 2.xx patches as well as the 2.x patches. That would give them up to 6 chances to move the story foreward.

I'm sure it have something to do with Revenant's Toll, seeing how it also change with every update. There was an offhand comment made about doing something similar to the 1.0->2.0 transition for 2.0->3.0. They've already shown us at least one place the xpac is going. Still have at least 2 more major patches before 3.0 (3rd coil & 3rd ST) and all of the inbetween patches too. There was an offhand comment made about doing something similar to the 1.0->2.0 transition for 2.0->3.0. Ah, the Dalamud Answers, i was overcome with joy when i hear this music in the rising event, i could not believe it. I play games for their history, and so i want to knew what happened in 1.0, so i eatched it all on youtube. The last days of patch 1.23b were wonderful, mysterious, ghastly. I wish i was there there with all the legacy plyer. I watched all footage on youtube of many ppl recording rhe last days. The whole community sounds so peacefull, so united. I wish we could be this way in ARR.
This song definitely has an effect on people, the current rendition of it anyways. Its the first time in I don't know how long I've seen so many people just simply sit in one zone and chatting with each other on my server. Looking back at it, we don't have much impacting music/areas that give different feelings in 2.0. Hell, even the Beastmen HQ's are all upbeat/fast-paced themes. While I couldn't play 1.0, even an example from XI would be Shadow Lord's castle, the final zone had some pretty good ambient music to fit the area. The Imperial encampments almost do it except for the fact we rarely have any reason to go to them after the main story.
