around ~46 to 50 outside Ul'dah to the Southeast is a Doblyn camp that used to be popular. Around 200-230SP~ solo
Would probably recommend solo to trio here. It can really only support 1-2 groups (birds slightly north are around the same).
I was with you up until this point. What you are doing might not quite make you a troll but it isn't far off. You criticized the OP without offering a shred of evidence that what you are talking about is true. It sounds like you are a weaker player who is afraid giving away some camp spots might mean you won't be able to keep up with the competition. I'm not saying you are but that's how you come off. Anyone can claim anything so long as they refuse to back it up with the "I'm not at liberty to discuss" defense. Besides, it's called a "guide" for a reason. Thank you Zoo for at least posting something that others might learn from. This game needs more people like you who aren't afraid to share their experiences for the benefit of the community.i dont want to say which camp specificaly cuz i kinda like scaring off lower level people who are there(i know, im greedy, but i cant help it if im leveling with some friends on our mid 40s at one of your -39 camps still and getting more sp then the higher camps cuz of it)
but lets just say you should go experiment with some of these camps yourself and see what i mean

This link is to a really nicely done page. Bravo to whoever took the time to make such a visually appealing camp site.

@Dextera: I think we're done with TheVedis, he or she is not posting here anymore and you may further the arguing on this post which I don't think anyone wants on here. Please try not to post what we think about each player, or anything that would begin another flame war on an otherwise helpful thread. I did the 20-24 camp in Nanawa Mines the other day fighting Cellar Puks, it was great. Full party not necessary as we were flowing with a Light Party (high physical lvls), but obviously the more the merrier since it has no effect on SP. The bridge section seems to only hold one good PT, and Wisps are good SP as well. They will pop in three parts and they aggro so be careful of engaging based on the last time you killed a Wisp.
Did the 40-42 raptors East of Iron lake with a light party R26-R31. Was great SP (~10k in a half hour), but ran out of mobs after 30mins. Decided to try Toto-Rak, good decision. Fun place to level, got around 17k for the full hour, but could've had more had we not wiped once.
I think toto-rak is the way to go from 25-31 (could probably do it earlier as well).
Oh, we also tried the Kobolds (~R41 east of Iron Lake) and they look awesome but are terrible for SP (for a light party atleast). They have more HP, attack harder, and give less SP than the raptors. Was still fun though!
Don't worry about the ranks as much as the monster type. I was able to solo a r37 Pygmy Dormouse with my r25 con (with all my armor at 0%) and I only got like 170sp..... but killing r32 beastmen (who were easier, I'll have you know) gave my 300sp
So it is not all rank.
Hence the reason why I didn't add collections of Pygmy dormice in the guide!![]()
Heres a chart of base SP. Some values may be different for 1.18, but its still very useful. To calculate SP:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images...artprelim.png/
Final SP = Base SP * D-LVL modifier * party# modifier
I highly reccommend you read this. Its a blog post by the one who made the SP chart. Its very informative.
From what I've seen, the D-LVL and party# modifiers are still the same in 1.18.
