Eh, i think most entries have it wearing heavy armor and use of defensive abilities, which make it a reasonable fit for a tank

I think it only has the one, "blade catch". But let's say this is valid, that's only 2 *possible* tank jobs (since Viking is Warrior).

I'm actually really happy to hear the announcement that Dark Knight will be introduced as a tank. And not with lancer class, which was the most ridiculous thing I'd seen on reddit. Well, it's not with any class, if you wanna get technical. Thanks for everyone's contribution to the thread, I understand how most of you felt in wanting DRK as a dps which would have also made sense. It does look like they're going in the right direction so far, though. I'm very excited to see it in action in 3.0

Well, I hope you give it a shot since it will, in fact, be a tank. Looks like they'll make it good, but that's 100% speculation since they've released little more than the weapon type and very broad description of its playstyle.

V.V I can't agree more 2 of my 4 favorite jobs are disappointing to me now. Lets hope something good happens with red mage (if it ever comes out!) I'd rather not only play DRG
