    That's why despite all the hate that gets flung around when you mention it, I like that when I hit Invincible/Benediction in XI it's instant, though it actually being instant caused a lot of issues when I accidentally hit my benediction macro and now suddenly tanking something I shouldn't be >.>

    For some reason this gets me thinking how slow "Final Sting" is when your running Hullbreaker Isle. It takes literally 2-3 seconds for it to proc after you have been hit. I wonder if they intended for a more elaborate animation before the hit or what. Thats a minor bug I wonder if they will fix one of these days.

    Off topic, I've always wanted to know this but is Sacred Soil what Y'Shtola uses to protect the player in the 1.0 Limsa opening Cutscene? I believe she uses it again in 2.0 somewhere but I can't remember anymore.

    I remember always hoping as a Conj in 1.0 that we'd get access to that awesome spell. And its one thing that makes me kinda wanna play SCH. Just for a small sense of fulfillment.

    Not a bug, all during 1.2x and ARR beta Yoshida reiterated he can't/won't sync up damage with the animation because it causes stress of some kind (likely server/client I assume?) Since he also mentioned not wanting people to focus on battle logs rather than the fight itself..so idk.

    Well considering most everything else in the game syncs up way faster this this particular item I'm referring, I have to disagree with you.

    For example Scylla's Unholy can hit you 'twice' and isn't exactly sync'd either..as is Ancient Flare also has a bit of a desync to it. Xande's Quake stuff also isn't sync'd up. So it's definitely a design choice. Final Sting ever since Qarn temple has always had a delay to it, so it's definitely desync'd for a particular reason.

    I'm in melee range if that's what you mean, but CoS can be used whenever as it's a PBAoE. The animation works but the ability does nothing. I wonder if it's a side effect of being based in Europe without an actual European data centre and its just lag.
