It doesn't matter. It's against the forum rules. Two wrongs don't make a right. The RMT is wrong yes, but that doesn't make posting that image right. It's wrong too.
I was trying to help the OP before he got in trouble for it.

Like i said before.. its applicable if said person is a player. but this is clearly an automated system of which is spamming the same message to random individuals. So in theory. i could have kept it up, but its people like this that destroy the forum community too. if the person was an actual individual i would have happily blanked it. but its not. and it clearly shows that its not, if anyone could have complained, it woulda been Nooshka. but yet of all complains was the name of the char? and not the site being advertised?
much confuse. Anyway, i removed it from the OP, but its been re=quoted so its still visible. so no skin off my back so to speak.

From the ToS. http://support.na.square-enix.com/ru...la=1&tag=forum
It, in no way shape or form, gives you the authority to determine if they were a person or not. It also does not give you the authority to suddenly break the rule because you're assuming they are a bot. It doesn't matter if they are a bot at all and never once in the ToS does it make an exclusion for bots.Posting seeking to damage or disparage Square Enix, the forum, FINAL FANTASY XIV, or others.

How did i any form:
- Damage or Disparage - Square Enix. The Forum, FFXIV or any other? i didnt in any terms show them of being a lesser being of myself, i also didnt "Damage" them so to speak, it showed a friend request.
Also, its not me having authority, but when its clearly being published, SE know this issue and to top if all off why would any Human player use different characters to replace letters to prevent a website which can be posted anyway which shows intention of that site being listed as such to prevent the original site being blisted from the server type function.
You know. You're right. Go right ahead and throw it back up there and lets see what happens. How did i any form:

I accidentally accepted a friend request today thinking it was another friend who I had just met.
After accepting the friend request the bot spammed my tell and sent me a in game mail as well. It was pretty annoying.
