Horrible connection to ANZ players

Hi, I was just wondering if Square Enix has any plans to place some servers closer to the bottom of asia-pacific area to accommodate the the ANZ players who suffer from extremely high ping (I get an average of 2500+ ping when doing an instance.) I've decided to cancel my subscription as I have reached level 50 where instances have become the main orientation of the game (in my opinion) and I get destroyed by attacks like 'landslide' because I'm not even aware that Titan has cast that attack until 3 seconds after. I wish I didn't have to do this because I really enjoy the game and would renew my membership if Square Enix decided to fix this problem - after all I am paying NZD 20 every month which a lot of people wouldn't even consider paying, so I think it's not an unreasonable request.

I presume you're playing on a US/EU server which would explain your high latency. Ironically enough, the JP servers are physically closer to Australia/New Zealand - I have characters on both server groups, and I find my characters on Ridill (JP) have less lag than my Balmung (US) characters.

In particular, Tonberry has apparently the largest English-speaking population on the JP servers, as most of those players are Australian/New Zealand/Oceanic. So maybe transferring to a JP server like Tonberry may help.
