While in a party , when eating food that gives you HP or MP and then use a skill(Eg soughspeak) , your HP or MP will decrease (Max HP or MP stays).

undergarment: cotton shorts (blue)

I ate Raisins, then used soughspeak and lost MP. Used Sentinel as well to double check , lost MP as well.
I left my party and used it again and did not lose any MP.

Asked a friend to try it as well. He ate a Knight's bread and used deflection then lost HP.

a linkshell mate of mine also noticed this: She was dressed as a con (vintage robe, jade crook are the only gears I can remember her wearing off the top of my head) she ate and algoat steak and lost 83 hps. She then could continue to cure herself for 83 hps even though we were in town and her HP bar should have been full. We were in town at the time (she was testing macros when she noticed it). Sorry I don't have all her stat info. We were in a party at the time (I think a light party) If I remember and see her tomorrow I'll ask her to post what she observed. -KK
