This makes no sense at all...i might just wait for an official word regarding it. If they confirm that there are 2 wheels, only then i'll believe...but until they do i do think its just a misinterpretation of something that was supposed to be purely lore content.

It is. You can find the book saying so in the mage guilds, and it works like that in practice when you use magic on mobs of opposite affinity.
