What is the life span of the Security token from 1.0?

Now to the real and quick question.

What is the life span of the Security Token from the 1.0 collector edition?
It's been 4 years now and I'm wondering if it will die on me soon.

It's the same one Blizzard uses which is ~7 years.

I've got one from XI, going to have to look at replacing it soon I suppose. I'd rather get a new one set up while the first still has around a year to go instead of doing it at the last minute when I can barely see the numbers anymore after hitting the button.

Using the 1.0 dongle too and have always wondered what you're supposed to do when the thing finally dies on you.

The token has a battery icon that will pop when it's going to die soon.
You cannot replace the battery since the moment it loses power all the informations it contains get lost. It could be done connecting an external power source and replacing the battery meanwhile, but it's not worth it imo
