Thread: what are some classes and jobs that you would like to see in 3.0

Some sort of physical ranged or melee pet class. Like Beast master or Ranger. Could just play off of Archer.

Musketeer, Red Mage, Time Mage, Samurai, Dancer,

but above all, we need whatever that comes in 3.0 first, to be a tank that people will want to play...
I can live a couple extra months of not having more dps if it gives us another tank first.

I want this gun class!

DoW:

*Musketeer (class)/Corsair (job).
*Ranger (use either Archer or Musketeer as the class)
*Bushido (class)/Samurai (job)

DoM:

*Mime (class)/Blue Mage (job)
*Fencer (class)/Red Mage (job)
*Geomancer (from Thaumaturge)

Red Mage

Anything magic related (dancer, blue mage, red mage, geomancer, necromancer, etc.). I agree that there needs to be more equality in the number of war jobs vs. magic jobs. Soon it will be 6 war jobs (paladin, warrior, dragoon, bard, monk, ninja) compared to 3.5 magic (white mage, black mage, smn/sch).

Gardening. They could spread the patches of gardening All accross eorzea so we plant different things.

BST- IF they can design pet UI better then current for smn
BLU -always a fav of mine

DoM:
Green Mage (Healer focused on buffs/debuffs rather than raw healing)
Elementalist

DoW:
Trickster (ranged DPS, uses cards and debuffs)
Templar (Tank)
Assassin

DoL:
Beastmaster/Sheperd
