One Year - Thank You for this game!

I have to say, it's not the game I wanted it to be, but it's a real great game anyway, and it's getting even better patch after patch.

I know I'm harsh some times, but it's just out of passion and love for FFXIV, and just want it to keep improving, so to Yoshi-P and all the team at SE that makes this possible, thank you and happy anniversary for A Real Reborn!

Let's keep this for many years to come!

I love this game so much. I have had a lot of fun obsessing over my various goals and riding the dopamine wave through the beautiful world of Eorzea. The content has been frequent, the devs have been attentive and generally things are going well. One year down and many more to come I hope!.

I've been here for only 6 months, but with how the game keeps getting better with every patch, I don't see why I can't be here for the next 6 years.

And can I also mention yoshi-p is one of the coolest and most bad ass producer of any game I played so far? I feel that he is really passionate about the game succeeding and tries to make everyone happy as far as possible. From some of his interviews where he looks positively jaded and one where one of his colleagues told him to "take care of himself", I feel that he is really putting alot into it which might not be visible to all. So keep at it but also remember to take care of yourself!

I've been playing since the open beta of 1.0 and I'm still experiencing awesome moments in the game.

Of course, there are things that didn't turn out as I would have like it, but I believe that it is a great game overall for an MMORPG.
The videos are awesome, the character animations are fluid and natural, the storyline is interesting and I like how we get to explore the whole world by following it, and the game has an appreciable amount of diverse activities.
That's great!

For the future, I'd simply like the devs to rely less on RNG (random generated number) and grind. Instead, they should add more complexity to entertain the players (use RNG to add elements of randomness in content to make them more complex [e.g. mini-games, puzzles or blocked paths in dungeons], unlike now where the content is shallow/static/repetitive and needs an RNG to prevent players from progressing too quickly).

It's pretty amazing how this game keeps pulling me back in. I'm glad they were able to turn it around and didn't give up on it.

This game feels the right way for me. Thank you for all your work! I played it since 2010 and there were many big surprises. Can't forget that epic moment, when Bahamut came out of Dalamud and all the other moments. I am happy to see that SE is still able to create a Final Fantasy game after many disappointments.

I absolutely love this game. The gameplay, graphics and art design, the score, the dungeons, etc. It's all there. That Final Fantasy vibe is there. I love it.
