I came into this game during the second phase closed beta, and to this day, the game has continued to amaze me. I have to agree with the others, and say a heartfelt thank you to Yoshi-P, and the rest of the team, and to SE for giving it a chance, You guys have done amazing so far and I look forward to many more years in Eorzea.

Happy Anniversary! Eorzea! I might not have been here for the 1.0 Era, but "The Rising" event really brought a tear to my eye! The "Answers" music playing in the background, seeing how 1.0 Minfilia looked like (Rising Vendor) and just that beautiful cut scene with the Wandering Minstrel was just glorious!

I truly love this game so much! It really is my new home since XI faltered from my heart, I've made some wonderful new friends through FFXIV: ARR. Let's keep this party on a rollin' for even more years to come!!!! Enjoy everyone, Happy Anniversary Thanks Yoshi-P and the Dev team! <3

I've been playing for six months now, and there have been ups and downs, but I love this game. I joined as someone that doesn't enjoy MMOs but I fell in love fast. Happy Anniversary. Yes, FFXIV has its fair shame of flaws - just like every other game, but it's honestly given me a lot of fun over the past year. I honestly believe the game has really taken off now, and I can't wait to finally encounter my favourite primal, Shiva, in the next major update. Thanks again, SE. You've done wonders to this game.

Happy anniversary and a massive thank you to Yoshida-san & everyone in the FFXIV team. It's been such an incredible experience, one amazement right after the other. Been so long since I got into the game (well before 1.0 launch), and even though I kinda got away from playing after like a year and a half, I've never once thought of suspending my account. Your dedication and diligence I've kept seeing for years is phenomenal, so hats off to all of you.
And special thanks for making The Rising so freakin' perfect in its every little detail - the conversation, the cutscene, the "group photo opportunity", the motion capture, the champagne and fireworks, the minions and their descriptions... bull's eye right in the feels. Thank you.
