Hey, can i send you a invite? Really want to get some more nice friends in the game and you are one of the few ppls here i see from Behemoth =p. Anyone from behemoth, if want ro send me a invite. Its Abel Ballad, im on vacation now so im livong in eorzea xD.It's been over a year now since I've played this game, I remember playing in Beta Phase 3 on PS3 back then. It was my first time ever playing an MMO before, and had no idea what a Gladiator was supposed to do, but..
I've met a lot of people in this game, and some very close friends. I've had my moments of frustration and of joy, laughing and crying, this game and this world mean a lot to me.
Thank you Yoshida and everyone out there in Eorzea, I'm looking forward to the years ahead through the future patches and expansions to see what the future holds for me.

See you all in Eorzea... when the servers come back online that is...
dear Yoshi and dev team,
as a calamity survivor I want to thank you for all your hard work and the sincere gratitude you have shown your players since the inception of the 14 series. It is your commitment to this level of excellence that will allow many others to enjoy the community you've built and the awesome game that continues to amaze. Happy 1st birthday and see you at fan fest in vegas!
respectfully

Aneas Corilius of Lindblum. I am at your service, kupo!
I've been playing since 1.0 and regardless of the inability of other people to enjoy 1.0 i enjoyed it and still enjoy 2.0/ARR. Its been a lot of fun. Much much better than FFXI imo.Perhaps not so much in your own timezones, but over here it's now the first anniversary of ARR's release. The game's had it's ups and downs, has it's glories and it's flaws, but overall I've had good experiences with it and I don't consider time spent in Eorzea to be time wasted. It just has that "Final Fantasy magic" that makes things good.
So, thank you SE for giving me so much fun this year! I hope the next is even better!
And you guys? Has the first year in Eorzea been a fun one? Or has it ruined the franchise forever and you demand your subscription back?(Just try not to be too scathing; this is meant to be a positive thread)
Thank you Yoshi-P and your awesome team for the great game!
I was here for the beta of FFXIV back in 1.0 and continued on even through the worst of times. I even remember when you guys stepped in, started to hold the monster up and here came 2.0/ARR. I love the dedication the team has placed in through out the years and how wonderful it has all been.
I even remember the first time I saw the letter come in and the first live letter. How much I wished some of our own American MMOs would actually do this. It won me over even further. And I'll admit, it is what has come to make me really honor you, Yoshi-P as a director of this game. Your ability to communicate with us, even though we are oceans apart, and that is saying something about you as a person, an individual, and as a director of the game.
I hope that FFXIV has many more years to come and that you, and your team, are right there with us for all those years to come.
(So what about that playable Garlean Empire?)
Thank you guys for allowing me to be my own Dragoon (not just a character who was already a Dragoon) and allowing me to change my armor color to dark green. I'm looking forward to resubbing once college breaks in December. Thanks for this past anniversary week's free log-in campaign! Please keep improving this game every patch!![]()

One year later and I'm still finding stuff to do and goals to shoot for. Good show, SE.
