Looking for SCH macros, key layout, and misc advice.

Hivernica pretty much pointed out most of the points, I'll just specifically repeat this one:

for the love of god, please do NOT macro your fairy abilities with ANYTHING. Be it rouse + Whispering dawn, Physick with Embrace. Do not macro ANYTHING.

You'd want full control over your fairy (and your own abilities). You may want to pre-rouse the fairy and use whispering Dawn later. Or just Rouse in general or just Whispering Dawn in some cases. Sometimes you want to cast Physick on the tank and have Embrace on a DPS that got nicked by a little bit of damage. The Embrace CD timer is also different than your own and the fairy sometimes casts Embrace randomly at someone who got damaged. This can be a real annoyance if you're expecting to heal for 700 potency worth and the fairy isn't casting at all or is late.

I have mine macroed together but stated a way to still heal two targets at the same time. You just need to put embrace on a different key and /pac Embrace first in your macro. You use your embrace keybind first on let's say, a dps and then cast your physick on the tank. Your fairy is already casting her embrace so she won't heal the tank, only your physick will go through.

Oh, for sake of helping the one asking:

I have all my fairy keybinds on my mouse (15 buttons on my mouse). Although you do not need all of them there. The most important ones would be to have Embrace and perhaps Place on your mouse. Having embrace on the mouse allows you to button smash that as much as you want (muscle memory comes in mind) and place is just more comfortable for myself to have on the mouse. Having the "button smash" key on the mouse also prevents your left hand from being trigger happy (remember: Muscle memory)

` (or whatever button you have next to the 1) is "Heel"
mouse button for embrace
mouse button for place

So general rule of thumb:
Left hand character control
Right hand fairy control (with exception of heel)

Even if you don't have a mouse with UMPH amount of buttons, you can always manually click on the icons. (You can just make a hotbar for it and place it somewhere easily accessible)

If you command Eos to use either of her cooldowns while she is casting embrace, she won’t stop casting. She’ll finish her embrace and then begin to cast what you asked her. That’s why I have macros for her cooldowns that INTERRUPT her casts and tell her to cast what I’m asking. I don’t have access to my game right now, if you’re interested in those macros just tell me and I’ll post them.

I too appreciate your passion! I love hearing other peoples play style and comparing it to my own, and modifying it for an optimum set up.

I had Embrace macro'd with Adloquium but I took it off and I only have embrace macro'd to Physick for the main heals. I must next really learn how to utilize embrace between the GCD.

I believe the marcro code for what he spoke of is (keep in mind I use a ps3, so I will include a mouse over macro but this was just off the top of my head)

I have access to my game right now, so here are my macros. Just remember that if your fairy isn't placed, she'll stay where she is and won't move afterwards. You can either press heel or add a heel at the end of the macro. If you add a heel and place your fairy, you'll have to place her again after she's done casting. Up to you.

Fey Illumination

The wait 7 is for when swiftcast is down and you don't have a fairy already summoned. If you want Selene on obey automatically, just change the sic for obey

I checked and I was actually wrong with my physick+embrace macro, embrace comes in second.

So I can use embrace on its own first and then physick to heal two targets, or just physick to cast both physick itself and embrace on the same target.
I play with mouseovers, so my "embrace keybind" is

/macroicon "Embrace" pet
/pac Embrace <mo>

The only problem here is that you can't interrupt her embrace, because of the cooldown. If you added a "stay" to interrupt her, you'd have to keep smashing the button until it's off cooldown or wait until it's off cooldown to reclick it again. I prefer to let her finish her thing. It's up to you though, you're free to add a "stay" before the /pac embrace if you want. It's a matter of preference I think.

Also, Lyrica is right about muscle memory. I have a similar mouse. Put stuff you use together close to each other.
Just remember that nobody is "perfect". You can experiment and find what you prefer.

First of all, thank you for sharing. You posted a lot of great tips. I have a couple of questions on this macro:
1. What is the Stay for?
2. My understanding of wait is that is simply a delay before the next line of the macro is executed, not a pet command. Since there isn't a next line in the macro, I don't see how it is doing anything.
