Misfits is a new LGBTQA & friends FC on hyperion. Although the community on hyperion is large and thriving I feel it important to form many a smaller families beside the bigger ones to make everyone feel included in activities and to get everyone's voices heard.
We welcome gamers from any time zone and any country.

At the moment there are management positions open so I encourage anyone who would like to try their hand at co-running an FC, or if you have former experience of any kind, to come and join us in building our small and slowly growing company.

I'm currently looking for a LGBT FC in Exodus. I transferred servers from Jenova, where I left a very small FC, that also happened to be LGBT, to play with friends who had joined. Before leaving, the FC fell to my ownership, and all the other members hadn't signed on in several months, that aside, I wrestled with the decision to stay proud and strong, or transfer and possibly find an existing one, or hell, just create a new altogether.

Though I wouldn't mind joining other linkshell groups, I decided to just go ahead and create one of my own:

Why do you need linkshells and freecompanys specifically for LGBT ?, why can't we all just play a game together i don't see the point in separation / segregation. Just asking because i am interested to know or understand the logic behind such an illogical thing, please don't misunderstand me i am all for LGBT i just think that we can all surely play this game together regardless of sexual preference ect.

It's largely so that you know you're interacting with people who aren't going to become hostile if they know that you're not straight or if you're a transwoman. Pretty much every single LGBT person out there has encountered situations where they got along very well with certain individuals until they found out. Sometimes it can be with a friend, sometimes it's your own family. It's just nice to know you can be yourself around some people.

That's a shame, i wish it was not that way. i would ideally like to play that game with anyone who is a nice person looking to have fun. i am a Straight male myself but have gotten along well with alot of LGBT as long as they are respectful nice human beings i have no issue with anyone, just wish it could be said the same for everyone i guess. I suppose i understand a little bit better now, so thank you for your response perhaps one day it wont be necessary, personally i can not understand someone becoming aggressive / hostile just because someone has a different sexual preference, hell even if a man flirted with me i would be flatterd and just decline respectfully informing the individual that i was straight.
