Amity Fields looks to be defunct on FFXIV. I found a Reddit recruitment thread that lists them as a FC - http://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/wiki/recruitment but the lodestone does not have an FC profile for them. The reddit user listed as the recruitment officer seems to be mostly active in the EQN section now.

Hey guys, great job with the redesign, and just in time for the one-year anniversary! I'm also liking how folks are activity-checking all of the FCs too, as it helps weed out the ones that haven't been active in months.

Keep up the good work! I'd like to nominate the Order of the Sword and Rose for inclusion, but like was with the issue with Hexen's initial exclusion (which was later fixed), there's nothing in our charter which specifically states anything about LGBT protections and is instead just a standard non-discrimination policy (which, to be fair, is a very VERY strict policy in which displaying any form of bigotry, racism, or any other discriminatory behavior is grounds for immediate dismissal.).

But still, great work! Also, I have been looking for an excuse to make an alt on Gilgamesh, so I may/may not do that, depending.

Hexen was never excluded - I just changed their 'category' back when I thought it still mattered. As I've said before, the simple fact that a group wants to be listed here suggests that theya re LGBT friendly. I think we can leave it up to the individual to check out the groups website or other information and decide if they seem like a goot fit. So post the info for Order of the Sword and Rose and we can add it to the list.

Got called a mahu last night during garuda ex just because I suggested that the MT stop raging on the OT (who was new to the fight). It sucked to encounter hate speech while trying to kick back with the game after work (though I was like, hey! hawaiian! oh wait. dammit). My BF and I are i90+ and just pretty chill guys that play evenings west coast time.

I had to look up the Hawaiian one myself - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahu_(person). Kind of sad that a term for a recognized third gender is now a pejorative slang. :/

The other word is the second half of a common slang word. Some use it self-referentially in a "reclaim the word" way but others still find it offensive .. which is why this sentence is so vague.

So, not completely LS-related, but in the small talk option for the Rising Vendor (the one dressed as Minfilia), at least in English, refers to her bethrothed as "she".

Subtle, nothing overt, but still classy. I think Square-Enix might be paying more attention to these issues than they let on.
