    4 man dungeons: Are they fun?

    We get lots of new four man dungeons but to me no matter what the design is, they just seem grindy, repetitive and done more for the rewards than for entertainment. Am I the only one who sees it that way?

    Raids with 8+ people seem more interesting to me because there's more player interaction and each run has more variance due to different party setups, player skill, play styles and personalities.

    It's the community aspect that brings the content to life and to me it's just not there in the 4 man dungeons.

    I don't think so.

    Generally too easy to train-wreck, very few mechanics, & trash is literally filler/garbage.

    It would be cool to see some 8 man dungeons. What we really need is open world dungeons, no more of this que-and-wait crap...

    Honestly, I love the newest 4 mans that came with 2.3. If SE decides to keep putting that kind of effort towards 4 man dungeons (and please make them slightly more difficult) I don't see there really being a problem.

    Coming back 3 days ago, since 2.2, I ran the dungeons at i96 (Healer) and never spoke to anyone in the party, nor did I YouTube or have any idea what to expect. No one died, no one was ever in trouble.

    Dungeons are boring and easy. There's no reason for them to be.

    I prefer the small party dungeons.

    I feel like the bigger group dungeons become a big cluster fest of AOE spams to the point you can't see where the heck you are going. I find dungeons like Syrcus Tower utterly boring. They try to make it more challenging by adding tons of mechanics that you have to avoid but I find it more annoying.

    I think 4 player dungeons is where you really learn and practice your job. When you get into the 8+ groups, inexperienced players easily hide in the shadows and let everyone else carry them.

    It would be interesting if they added random encounters in dungeons. Like NMs or special alternative endings.

    It depends on your perception of fun.

    Personally I'm starting to hate 4 mans. Ran each of the new dungeons once and that was it. What I enjoy most personally is raid content, but BCoB can only take you so far (Which is why my raiding career now is in WoW)

    Gosh, no open world dungeon..... It will be another Hunt fiasco, with ppl whinning and yelling and calling names on everyone that didn't wait the whole server to tele there just to kill the final boss......

    4 man dungeons are fine as it is, just don't spam them and you wont get bored with them. Some have cool mechanics and lore too.

    They're fun at the intended ilevel. They're easily outgeared now.
