    i think most of the dps problems at first adds come from kiter not doing/able to do damage
    we usually position adds not at the enge of arena but a bit closer to the center

    As a BLM myself what i do on 1st set of adds is save my manawall and swiftcast for the 2nd add in case we lose on the dps check.
    What i do is place myself on the right side of the arena where the 3rd add pops. then when 2nd add pops i use manawall and Swiftcast a fire3
    to get agro immediatly. at the same time OT moves to my place and provokes the 2nd add off me (he saves provoke for that reason) and then i place myself between boss and add caring about range of both boss and adds tail swaps. Also our healers do not use high enmity gen skills at that point where i m getting agro.

    Doing that will force the add to move to me and setting the OT free to move w/o having the add on him cause moving through the party with the add on is a risk of wipe if tailswap hits.

    when i agro it it wont use any tails until it reaches the target in that case me and im placed far from the others so no danger of death.
    as a BLM i find it really usefull and my OT found it really helpfull.
