Race Change / Character Re-customization?

Only three voices to pick from anyway and they are all the same. I would like to pick a different voice.. like maybe option number 12? Oh yea, i doesn't exist (yet?) ^^

Ya I really wish they would implement this in one point. As much as it pains me to say this, it would be nice if we could get something similar to a barber shop that WoW has now where we can change hairstyle/color(think you can do color) for a small fee(game money not real money) though if they charge crysta or something I prob would not mind because I have seen a few doubles of my character in game and I want to be unique!!!(as much as I can be, <.<)

I am not a big fan of changing RACE & GENDER....however, maybe your look with your height or hairstyle or something...I am all for it. But I think it should be in-game function where you goto a vendor and pay like 500k and get a new look.

I agree it would be a good point to implement customization and in particular if this is done in game (barber, tattooist...). It’s fine for me to pay in gils for such services.
Concerning the change in race/sex, by the twelve it will be a pity. I imagine “Hello friend Lalafell… oh Nophica please protect me what a f*** curse! You, you were changed in an Elezen !”. No sorry I can imagine that…
For the name I don’t be sure it will be a good idea to generalize this. Hopefully there are few “out of roleplay” names in this game.

Race change, Hair change, Body type change are all OK to implement. But there would have to be a time limit and cost. In XI world transfer was only avalible one time every 28 days and at a cost of real money. Something like this would be fine.

I actually really like my character and wouldn't change anything about her but I'm all for the idea of being able to in the future for a price. Similar to changing servers in FFXI would be fine.

in FFXI you could do a world transfer every 3 months only.

I would like everyone whos a friggen mithra to be force changed mwhahahah but yes if they did ever bring out new races I'd like the change. Or let a story/expansion let you play as something else for a bit.

(Yes, I realize that this is an old thread, but I'd really love to see a dev response about this issue).

I actually just remade my character, mainly because I didn't realize how badly I'd missed my desired look when I originally made her. While I'm very happy with the new appearance, the idea of having to level everything all over again makes me want to cry (I've been playing intermittently since release).
