Most agonizing, colossally wasteful, disruptive, torturous, deceptive, painful...

Mortifying, pain-inducing, ****-storm of our time, just took place on Shiva Server in Outer La Noscea in the U'ghamaro Mines, while the S Rank Mahisha was alive.

Basically the crippling and so painfully told story of this S Rank monster, was that he spawned in the tiny tiny tunnel at X 22, Y8. Half of his body was phasing through the ceiling, and since it's like 50 feet tall, it's like cramming Godzilla into a one-bedroom apartment inside of a apartment complex, and he doesn't interact with the building's structure at all physically, but is stuck inside of it and running around killing people.

For about 30 minutes, people are running in, dying because you can't avoid his pretty much one-hit KO AoEs in such a small space, and thousands and thousands of total deaths were likely clocked in at the end. The greatest Odin Zantetsuken wipes rivaled this fight on magnitude.

The only way to survive, or likely do anything, was to have a full party of healers for the hundreds of players. He got reset once as well because someone tried to take him into a room bigger than the one at X 21, Y8. So my god, to finally get him down eventually, and to get 5 seals for it? Most soul-crushing thing I've ever experienced in this game, only healer out of 8 left alive in the party, and I got raised just as someone else died, which means everyone got boned pretty hard for that one.

If you want to make content difficult and soul-crushing SE, please keep spawning Godzillas and giant ass monsters in tiny corridors, that's more difficult than T5 in it's prime. Otherwise, you should already have thought ahead to not spawn such massive enemies in areas where you can only make out their ankles, my god...

    /rant, leaves to cry

    Ughh... I feel ya bro.

These S rank monsters are a paint, to top it of they're all ninjas, disapearing from your screen even though they're bigger than a fat chocobo.

But a big rear S rank cramped in a tunnel ? I would have left that place !

    That... Sounds... AWESOME

Actually i was kind of hoping they would just add an enrage to S ranks and make them start one-shotting people over a certain player threshold for the fun of it.

This was known ever since hunts got released and Mahisha first popped up though. I say have fun! Reminds me of the one time Cornu decided to spawn in there. At least we could see him well enough.
