Constant 90K and 2002 Errors after PS4 Upgrade?

I just recently upgraded from the PS3 version to PS4, one day after 2.35. Since then I've been hit with constant lag and the game has pretty much been unplayable. Even when I'm able to stay connected for any longer than 10 minutes, the crippling lag in my actions doesn't even make it worthwhile.

I'm not sure if this is obligatory patch lag or something to do with the PS4? My connection has been perfect on the PS3, even that very morning before I set up my account on the PS4. This problem has only occurred the moment I began playing on the newer console.

I'm hoping that today's PSN maintenance will help, but any tips would be greatly appreciated! Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong thread or this isn't detailed enough, tis my first time posting on the forums ^^;

Atm, Sony is under a DdoS attack. Idk if it's still happening, but it probably is. All PSN servers are affected.

I was on just fine from 830pm till 945pm central time then i 90kd. Ive now spent the last 45 minutes trying to get back on. PS4 server cactuar na. Ps4 up to date. Ffxivarr up to date. Error 2002 is unacceptable

It's now 205 am cst. I can log into (KINDA) the data center, as in it shows my server, my character names and that my connection is "excellent" but NOT see my characters themselves. What am I paying PSN AND SE for? Oh right to be able to have enjoyment playing a game, but I'm not enjoying this. I'm also now getting Error 1014 saying it can't find world data.

On top of the free week log in for non-subscribers (which is causing tons of congestion), the PS4 doesn't have as good a network card as PS3, so if you're using Wifi, that will mess you up too. But if that's not the case, it's 95% likely it's the people logging in for the free week log in.
