    Game Time Cards in Australia

There seems to be no threads on this topic, so I figured I'll make one here.

It's been many moons ago that I was first introduced to Square Enix's payment system. Doing my research, I've come across 60 day game time cards which are supposed to be sold here in Australia.

    I've yet to find any.

I've checked with SE's nominated suppliers (JB Hi Fi and Electronics Boutique), both claiming they're out of stock. With no cards coming into stock for over a year, I thought I might make use the free log-in event to say something.

For the sake of those who rather not pay a middle man (via credit card) to get Crysta, please make sure your suppliers recieve game time cards.

I look forward to some replys even after the free log-in event.

I read that Australia falls in the same payment zone as EU in another post. If so, and you don't mind paying extra postage as your middle man, perhaps you might try Amazon in Europe, such as the one in Great Britain.

If anyone else can verify this that would be most helpful.

Same problem here in New Zealand. Luckily, there is a solution, although you still have to use a credit card (or debit Visa/MasterCard) to pay for it.

I usually buy mine from NZGameShop, which is a British-run company, and they have an Australian version, OzGameShop. It might take about a week for them to actually process it, but once they do, they scratch off the card and email you a picture of it, rather than you having to wait for the physical card to arrive in the mail. It's completely legitimate. I've bought from them many, many times.

Here's a direct link: http://www.ozgameshop.com/pc-games/f...ail-pc-and-ps3 (this does work for PS4, as well, FYI). Unfortunately, they're out of stock right now, so that's kind of a pain in the ass. The only other option is to use a credit card or debit Visa/MasterCard without buying Crysta, because buying Crysta seems like a real roundabout way of getting a subscription.

Personally, I'm just waiting for JB Hi-Fi or EB Games to get them in-stock over here. I looked about a week ago and still nothing, so I feel your pain.

A friend of mine pays for her FFXIV fees with the time cards, and from what EB Games have told her, the time cards have been actually phased out here in Australia for some bizarre reason and are no longer being sold in Australia.

So if that is actually true (I'm just repeating what my friend told me), then your only options sadly is to either purchase a European time card online or use a debit card/credit card for your payment.

    This is true/false.

they are phased out only for the likes of EB Games, which keeps a strict catalog of what is and isn't for sale, but the likes of Oz Game shop imports the cards so these restrictions do not apply.

Keep in mind that all EU accounts are the same, no matter the country. Japan doesn't seem to know the difference, but that's another story.

If you purchase an EU game time card, no matter where you buy it, it should work. Just be sure not to buy the wrong region, because then you're SOL

As for what someone above posted, Amazon is in fact selling them. They physically mail them to you (so order now!)
