    FF14 Game DVD Replacement

    Hey guys I bought the Collectors edition of the game just like many other people. I was just wondering if Square Enix would consider sending an updated DVD to people who spent a lot money for for a beta DVD that what i called it. Every time i have to reinstall game i have to download massive updates its maybe more than 2GB and that pisses me off also it killed my bandwidth. Cause going through that auto update takes forever like one day to do all of the updates and i have 10mbps connection. It would be great if SE replace the DVD with one that has all the updates or maybe if they can put like offline Download so we can Download and all the updates and keep them.

    At the current stage of the game (not bringing in income), I doubt this is a possibility. However, they will probably come out with special edition disks like with FFXI on an annual basis that is "up-to-date" with a certain point.

    Blizzard frequently updates their online installer for WoW to include the latest updates, so I see no reason why SE couldn't do something similar for FFXIV.

    I don't think SE even has an online installer. I'm trying to find one so I can play but I'm struggling!

    Look up how to use another Bittorrent client to download your patches. That's almost the only way to get the large updates to download.
