Rogue/Ninja Starting Class?

So apparently some people haven't heard of a plot twist, or changing the nature of a story once new information is gathered. I'll use the star wars angle like someone previously, once you find out Darth Vader is Lukes father it completely changes the way you look at everything prior to that, it's an important point that evolves all the previous plot by adding new information.

This plot device is used constantly throughout many mediums, the FF series employs it in pretty much all of their stories. (Eg Cloud not being Soldier in VII)

This plot device could easily be used to explain why the player is able to become rogue and ninja before the 2.2 story. All it takes is new information to evolve to previous plot. And who's to say Yugiri is definititly the one who trains us, because she offered? Guess what the player can just as easily tell her no, and be trained by someone else, its not that difficult to comprehend.
