Rogue/Ninja Starting Class?

I still wish that they would have just done away with classes in 2.0 and went jobs only.

It's greatly possible that it's in Limsa, it's not because Yugiri wants to open a dojo that it will be the rogue guild. Also there would be nothing wrong with the scene of 2.2, the problematic scene is maybe :
People being surprised that Yugiri fight like a rogue while the player is a rogue too and no one praise him for this, NPCs doesn't care about the player anyway, he is just here to save the world after all !
