no one is lock out of the rogue, since whatever you do, you will have to do the story quest. all this talk are pointless, because whatever you say, it don't change the fact that it's a new content added after the release. it's not a starting class, it's a new add to the game. do people complain because they need to do the story for get acces to mog/levi/ramuh? no. that the same. it's not different than the glamour that recquire to be level 50 for be unlocked. exept here, you will need to do the story line quest for get acces to the class.

one more time, is not basic content, it's advanced content, in the sense that it was not there at the base, it's a whole new content added to the game, that you that are making a fuss for nothing. saying it's unfair for the new player... when it's not different than the recquirement to the glamour or dyeing or tribes quest or hunt or personal housing! they are content that reward you for advance in the story. you are the one that want to simply take out this progression for a reason as ridiculous than saying it will lock out player, when no one is lock out...
