Hmmm, I like risky. I'm going to have to try it out. I think you're right about the Golem merge range being less than Bane, from seeing them merge, it looks like 4 yalms, so half the radius for Bane.
I might see first if one of the golems can be dropped slightly closer to the other two without a raid wipe, then it can be dotted and bane'd before they start to move around (much much less risk than trying to move one after dropping). If not I guess I'll just grab the tanks golem and start with it and hope they can position it without a merge. (involves dropping golems on the three small inner circles) Shouldn't be too hard as the two other golem temp tanks should be able to hold them where they land.

As far as I know, DoTs didn't tick but only timer during Stream ?
If you kill green first before the switch, you have 100% chance of not dealing with green afterwards. This requires decent DPS, and if you kill 1-2 seconds before switch you can still get a green, but if you have the DPS for it I recommend it for both solo tank or two tank comps. After the green's dead, your WHM can just chill, DPS, or camp out the red golem's flame circle AoE to Fluid Aura it.For golem phase, my group chooses not to burn Blue down before color swap, since we will then have a 50% chance of not having to deal with Green for the rest of the current golem set. So Blue > Green > Red.
Due to this, I will first dot Blue (and put Garuda on it), dot Red and have Garuda Contagion it, then dot Green. By that point it's almost time for first color change so you just go from there. The reason I Contagion Red is that it has a 100% chance to be not-Red after the color swap, so it will be a priority kill one way or another.
It requires SMN to focus on one enemy though when their time can be better spent dotting up all 3 golems. If you kill green first before the switch, you have 100% chance of not dealing with green afterwards. XI: Zeroblade, Titan Server
With i110 DPS you shouldn't need the SMNs extra DPS so you could DOT them all NP.
We kill green well before the swap. I'll try it tonight if I can go SMN again.
Must be our one mediocre BRD then. We push 3 meteors and 1 ghost but first golem is always at maybe 5-10% left before color change.
XI: Zeroblade, Titan Server
DoTed them all NP and still pushed green so yeah probably someone slacking.
My golem rotation is
Green: Focus pet, miasma2 all 3 in the middle, dots, fester
Blue next: dots plus cont
Red last: dot, fester
U should really ingrain yourself to spam ruin 1 whenever there isnt as much movement involved. Golem phase for me is to recover mana, there is very little reason to push dps in this phase, i always go into the last phase with full mana and everything off CD, so dot up everything, contagion green or red (if you start blue first). I usually do 1 fester 2 drain per aether stack on golems. Oh dont shadowflare center since you gona pull them away and waste over 20 sec of shadow flare, just put it on the outside on blue.
