    First, welcome to the boards. We've been discussing this since the patch notes were posted. I bet there are 10 threads with over 100 posts on this very topic.

    Second, there are healing potions.

    Third, there are other ways to heal yourself -- Second Wind, Bloodbath, Aegis Boon, Speed Surge, etc. And healing potions. And food.

    Fourth, if you're running out of MP, you should try conserving it. Or boosting it. Increase your Mind. Or use food. Or use ethers. Or use Stygian Spikes. Or maybe use Cure 1?
    Now we can heal ourselves 3 times and then its FU player.
    Yes. No more unlimited supply of MP. It's more challenging now. Lots of people think that's a good thing.
    How are we supposed to solo play? Take down lower lvl mobs so it takes us 15 years to get to lvl 20?
    You're supposed to play smarter. A higher degree of challenge rewards skillful play. You should try to get better so you don't have to keep fighting lower level mobs.
    And the thunder II spells stay at 20 mp like it was.
    I don't understand this. Are you suggesting that Thunder II should have been increased, too? I thought you were against increased MP costs.
    You wanted us to combine our classes and now you punish us if we are not a conjurer class?
    This doesn't make any sense. They're not punishing you for combining classes. They're rewarding you because you can use abilities from other classes. You can cure yourself as an Arc. That's a reward. You just can't spam Cures forever.

    See, healing is a fundamental aspect of the battle system.
    Therefore, making healing easier makes battle easier.
    Making healing more difficult makes battle more challenging
    Not everyone wants the game easy. In fact, most people complained that the game was TOO EASY.

    Let's consider the extreme:
    Healing is free and builds zero enmity.
    Deepvoid Slave becomes "babies" even more so than it is now
    Batraal becomes beatable by any rag tag bunch of adventurers

    Healing is not even remotely broken. You're only basis for comparison is the previous system (and possibly past MMO's or RPG's) which has no bearing on the current system, or at least very little

    A more challenging battle could possibly be exactly what the developers envisioned with this change. The dungeons definitely require more skillful play, foster strategic partying and reward more skilled players. I thought that is what SE wanted, in which case the new healing does exactly what was intended

    The one big difference between Yoshi-P and Tanaka was that Tanaka would run with the new systema nd give people time to get used to it instead of switching it up and back pedaling after less than a week

    Did you even read my post?

    Now its impossible to fight a 10+ lvl monster and the ones that are just a few lvl's higher then yourself are no match.
    Mp should have gone up maybe.. But not to this extreme part. 75mp is way overload.
    And some don't have the time to spend 24 hours a day on a game.
    Healing potions??? WHat they heal 50 hp like the ethers? I havent seen any healing potions yet.

    And for rydin. If your not serious on a reply and just want to act like a 4 year old then go play some barbie games and leave a discussion for the mature people.
    I don't care if it's hard i like that but if you can't heal yourself when almost dead then there is no use in fighting stronger monsters.
    I'm not the only 1 that thinks so and those who say it's a good idea are the ones playing 24/7 or always have like a r***d groupd of 8 attacking 1 little goat.... No one needs healing that way when 8 lvl 20 people attack a lvl 23 goat.

    So yeah healing at 45 would be ok but 75 is bs.
    I played every single FF there is and it never was that stupid.
    And on other MMO's you do have healing pots that heal descent.

    You seem to be a n**by.
    There is more challenging and there is impossible.
    Fighting your own lvl mobs is easy and boring and only give exp worth of a lvl 1 mob.
    Thats why people take on a chalange by attacking stronger mobs testing if they could handle them.
    Without healing it stays at fighting your own lvl which is easy and boring again. No chalange.
    Think before you type bs. Youre making a fool out of yourself.
