Any way to play Summoner AND Scholar without hindering your attribute points?

I ended up putting 10 into INT, 10 into MND, and 10 into PIE. I debated putting everything into PIE just to counteract the almost obnoxiously heavy reliance on Mage Ballad in the endgame that few bards ever actually use.
