I Found That:Miner achievement 1-3

i look on google everywhere but cant find the anwser it. for these three achievements you have to collect a certain amount of unique items mining . what are these unique items? im a lvl 53 miner and have gotten numerous maps and uncharted node items but those dont appear to qualify as unique items for the achievement.

Have u went thru ur gathering log and atleast gotten 1 of everything in the log?

Been awhile i finished all that in 1.0 but i think if u get atleast 1 of everything in ur log ur get those unlocked dont have to get everything but enough for the achievements

Kinda funny that you mentioned this. So I have a lvl 50 miner, went and looked and I see that I have achieved all 3,(didn't even know it) and that there is a reward of a masters miners ring, which I do not have in my inventory. Think I am missing something.

For the ring after u have the achievements done u have to go see the npc in old grid he will give it to u.Cant rem exact position for him tho im not in game atm but hes in the upper NW section of the map i think it is

That would explain why I don't have it, wonder what else I'm missing, thanks

The npc mentioned is Jonathas <master of rolls>, located at apkallu falls in old gridania.

Since it was never explicitly stated, I'll elaborate on what the achievement means. It doesn't mean items with the Unique tag (which means you can only carry one) but rather mean "50 unique items" as "50 items that are different." Basically, gathering all the different items on your gathering log.

It doesn't matter which items you get, so long as you get that many different kinds. If you're collecting at least one of each that's available, it's when you reach either the level 30 or 35 nodes that you can reach the number needed for the third achievement. (I think it's 30 for Botanist and 35 for Miner, but it might be the other way around. I can't quite remember.) So at 50, you've got access to more than enough. Just collect a bunch of different stuff.
