Hello I just started playing, and the game looks great. Though with the lack of a beginners tutorial I find I keep getting frustrated=) So was wondering what is the best way to get friendly help in game?

Just thought of anothe question. Is there a way to increase my mouse sensitvity in game?

The best way to get help in game is probably to join a linkshell.

If you look through these New Player forums, or on the Mysidia forums, you can probably find someone offering linkshells on Mysidia.

But as always, feel free to ask questions here.

I'm not positive, but I'd suggest two things:

1) Before you start the game, you can open FFXIV Config. (Essentially, just go to the Start Menu-->Square Enix-->Final Fantasy XIV-->FFXIV Config, or something like that.) That will allow you to play with all sorts of different settings in the game.

2) After you start the game, on your Main Menu, there's an option for (I believe) Configuration. There are several options under that menu, including chat logs and macros. I'm not sure, but one of them might be things related to your mouse or keybinding or something.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. Hopefully someone smarter than me will come along with some actual info.

A Beginners Guide to Eorzea should be of some assistance... Also make sure to go down to Ul'dah and use the /shout command to look for a linkshell and someone who will help you.

Everything else should come naturally overtime... But that's the fun thing about the game... It has a learning curve! Hope it helps and good luck!
