XIV Casting Call- Share your submissions!

So, the Casting call for NPC/Extra's submissions are pretty much done and
over with, So I think it might be fun to share our submission now, just for fun

Here's mine:


Character Name: M'hihiro Amariyo
Character Race/Clan: Miqote/ Keeper of the moon
Gender: Male
Main Job: Bard

A young man from the streets of Ul'dah. Although Good nature at heart (albeit, a rather hyperactive child), he has a tendency of reeking havoc everywhere he goes- constantly cause problems for his merchant caretaker. Once M'hihiro had reached adulthood, his caregiver had sent him to Gridania to be taught under Luciane
in hopes that staying there would instill into him the importance of patience and respect, as well as sharpen M'hihiro's already sharp eye for details.




The description is a little bit on the cliche side, but at 1 am est time, at the last minute, that's the best I could come up with >,> xD


(PS- Forgive me if there is already a post on this subject- I looked back to the last 8 pages, and I only saw the thread about not being able to submit entries for the contest >,>)

I think most descriptions will be a bit cliché. You can't really come up with something fresh and solid with only 50 words. But I'll bite. I love my character so I'm happy share my submission!

I'm hoping to have him as some sort of random encounter or as a warrior in the coliseum. He is dressed for the occasion after all! xD

Character Race/Clan: Miqo'te/Keeper of the Moon

Main Job/Class: Paladin

Description: Hito is a young knight from the Keepers of the Moon clan. Valiant at heart, he left his clan to serve the Sultana as a paladin for a while before finally becoming a vagabond(following a certain event), forever seeking his own light in the dark of the night.

I don't know if this is a good idea. the page about the casting call had this to say about the pictures.

"The Screenshots submitted in the Contestant’s email entry must be original works that are being published for the first time for this Contest."

I know technically they were sent to SE the first time, and posting them here came after, but I would hate it if doing this hurt your eligibility to take part in the contest. :/

I think AmalahRose is correct. I used to do some freelance writing and anything posted on an internet forum was considered already published and you couldn't sell first publishing rights for it. I imagine something similar could happen with contests. Not for sure, but I wouldn't risk it.

Well, considering the contest is now over (ended 30 minutes beforw I posted this), It should be alright...
Also- Im not using the image I used for the contest- this is just one of my random selfies from months ago...

I just wanted to post something fun- especially since this is the first thread Ive made here :I

I think it would be wise to wait until the winners are announced before a thread like this. I think it's a great idea for a thread, but I think even now may be a bit too soon. =(
