Glamour/dye issue

Okay, so I get the new Foragers hat, dyed it Russet brown to match my botany clothes, equipped it and updated my gear set.

Then I equipped it on miner and glamoured my miners helm too it which was dyed Soot Black and updated my gear set. Everything was fine.

When I went back and equipped my botany set, the foragers hat was the color of the miners helm, Soot Black. And it has a little pink triangle with an exclamation mark in the hat window. So I figured I just have to redye the foragers hat back again but when I bring up the dye window its showing that I'm dyeing the helm and not the hat.

So not sure what happened or how I go about getting the hat dyed back again...

You are using 1 hat therefore if you dye it another colour it will of course reflect on all gear sets.

You are not glamouring the hat to something - which will allow you to change the item colour that then reflects onto the glamour.

Do you understand the difference? ^^

if you glamour it to your hat, and then dye it from your CURRENT gear, it will retain the two different colors

Dye the hat russet brown, the mining helmet [unlinked original version] black, THEN add the helmet as glamour.

There is one dye data attached to a piece of gear. They will both always be the same color. Pick one or the other.

They said that this may change in the future but you are stuck with one color only...have to decide.
