    Please change "Copper Rings" to "Copper Links"

    Could the crafting component Copper Rings please be renamed to something else. Perhaps "Copper Links" would be suitable. It's confusing to have both a jewelry item called "Copper Ring" and a component called "Copper Rings" that can both be crafted by new jewelers at around the same level, when there's a quest asking for multiples of one of them. Once you're talking about multiple items, the names are identical (as they'd be pluralized anyway). So people keep making the wrong ones and wondering why it doesn't work.

    We just recently had another thread show up in the New Player Help forum with someone who had this problem, but we've been seeing the same issue from various people ever since launch.


    p.s. I don't know whether this naming confusion is specific to the English version or occurs in other languages as well, but check each of the localizations and find a suitable naming alternative in any that share this problem.

    A hobby of mine is making Chainmail. The technical term would be "Jump Rings" or "Rivet Rings" depending which they (Square Enix) are going for.

    Chain is a product of putting the rings together often referred to as "2 to 1"

    There are also Punched, Welded, and Split rings.

    Its real easy to spot. You are incorrect on who makes what. Copper Rings and Copper Ring, are both crafted by GSM. I am leveling my GSM now, and I made the mistake doing a levequest by not carefully reading the the text, I made the copper rings, instead of a copper ring. No big deal I just sold the rings, but yeah they are made by the same craft.
