Beast Tribe Quest

Anyone doing these beast tribe quest? There is a myth reward but only 5 myth so whats the point if myth items cost 300 myth or more. You can do dungeons for 100 myth and hunts and get more myth. I think they need to increase the amount of myth to at least 50 to make the quest worth doing.

For me it is the story. I enjoyed starting it yesterday and I like the added mechanic with crafting. It is also another way to level up crafts I haven't maxed. The myth are just extra.

I'm the same Timethiuas, and I'm talking about all the beast quests, not just the recent Ixal one. The storylines for them are very interesting, especially the story surrounding the Brotherhood of Ash. Plus maxing rank in a beast tribe allows you to buy their unique mount, like the laurel goobbue for the sylphs. There's more to the beast tribe quests than just a source of tomes.

I'm with Timethius and Enkidoh. I love the story of the questlines. Their also a good source of ventures daily, and with the new Ixali quest, I can even use them to level my DoH! On top of all that, you have to love those sweet new mounts and minions!

It's a pre-50 myth option so it's to be expected that the rewards will be smaller.

Sadly not a good source of ventures(which is sad)... and a lot of the combat ones are tediously boring and just repeat... Still the story so far for me has been what's been driving me but I don't put in lots of effort into it because there are other things to do in the game.

The other thing is its good for crafters as you can get items from them that no other place has and its alot cheaper than the market boards for the same items.

He'll yeah! Especially the dyes! The Ixals have the best selection of dyes so far, for cheap! Royal Blue, Soot Black & Snow White! Good bye market board price gougers!

Beast tribes were not made to be an alternate source of tomes. They're just small things for players to get while waiting on doing major stuff like raiding. The small myth rewards are good if you need to get the last few for an item and don't feel like doing a long dungeon.

The reason why most players do Beast Quests are for the vanity items you can get at the end. Otherwise, they can provide a stable price for crafting materials and dyes. The Ixal beast tribe will probably be the only one that players continue to do after maxing out the reputation due to the incredible amount of crafting experience you can get without even touching the class you're trying to level.
