Please fix "The Art of Incapacitation"

This happens with most of mobs right now, the point of this "art" is using certain skills to incapacitate some parts of the mob. Now, how much damage do you have to do to incapacitate?, Too Much . I was with a GLA and using Luminous Spire in the rear of a crab, with 5 skills to enhance the power of the skill, and using it in a Battle regimen mode, it doesn't incapacitate.... and we hit more than a half of HP of the crab with that battle regimen and 303HP with the skill, so what's the point of The Art of Incapacitation if we kill the crab before incapacitate?

I was on R30 GLA and the crab R29, I might incapacitate a mob when I'm at least 5-10 ranks lower to them, so I can use it for ranking up, why I want to incapacitate a mob that I can kill without problems bc he is lower rank than me?

The fix: Lower the damage needed to incapacitate, so it would be useful.

Yea the few times I have targetted an incapacitation, it seems like I end up doing 3/4s of the HP on the monster to actually get the desired incapacitation. While this is fine for item drop incaps, it doesn't work for lowering a monsters strength in battle since its almost already dead.

    I agree.

A while back I was soloing some boars as a PUG while waiting for Dodore to spawn. I would use only enough basic attacks to get the TP required. The only weapon skills I would use would be for the incaps on the head. The weapon skills were buffed as much as they could be, but every time I got the incap it would be on the last hit, or leaving the mob with around 5% hp. This was consistent for the 20(ish) kills I did.

Consider if I was doing this with just one other person. The damage they deal with basic attacks just to get enough TP for one weapon skill would be enough to kill the mob before the incap.

On the flipside, look at the lower NMs. One buffed up weapon skill is enough to incapacitate parts. Isn't that a bit too easy?

I think they need to go in and revise the damage required for incapacitation of parts over all the mobs to make it maybe 20% of the total HP of NM's and 30% of the total HP of normal mobs. That would seem reasonable enough.

It just needs to be made easier to do in general because its a very nice facet of battle that gets underutilized. It's significant enough that it should be a larger part of all major battles.

I wasn't aware that the incap was based on a minimum damage done. Fighting skeletons, I knock off their heads about 80% of the time. It never occurred to me that it was anything but random.
