Lag spikes and disconnects since patch 2.2, lag comes and goes

Since patch 2.2 I will randomly get horrible lag and screen freezes eventually leading up to just straight disconnecting on random days, but then sometimes I go up to 3 days no issues. My computer hasn't changed since, so it can't be that, and its making the game unplayable, but i'm not quite sure what to do about it. Last time I put in a support ticket for this same problem, I just got a generic answer about cleaning out my pc, resetting the router, etc.

It might be worth noting my bf has the same issue, and we tend to get the lag spikes at the same time. (We don't live together, just in the same town). We also have different service providers, he has comcast and I have verizon.

Not sure where to go about fixing this from here. Any help would be appreciated!
(Also sorry if this is the wrong place, wasn't sure if this or the bugs forum would be correct)

I am getting 90ks d/c and lag spikes just now as well. Trying to pvp too.

Don't bother with it. The game was unplayable for me for 2 months. Deal with it or go on to another game until it gets better like I did. They don't do anything about it, and they only send you to a FAQ, no matter what you tell them.

its been doing this in pvp alot.....please SE fix it now

I rarely PvP, but i've found the lag does tend to hit in instances harder. Made leveling my warrior the other day nearly impossible!
