ps3 version account question

I understand the ps3 version is not out yet but I have a question that maybe someone here can answer... will our account info for what we use to play on PC now be something where we will just use the same info and be able to play our same character or will we have to start fresh?

I think i read in the manual that you would need to link the Registration Code to your SE account. Not sure beyond that though.. perhaps some clarification is needed?

I believe they stated you can use your same character and account, but you have to buy the different platform versions to play on the different platforms.

Like to play your character on PS3 and PC you need keys for both the PC and PS3 linked to your account to play it on both platforms.

This is correct^^ ... Who know's though... Yoshi may decide to change this, we'll see!

well since i already asked about the ps3 instead of adding another thread i figured id repost in here...does anyone know if they plan to do a collectors edition for ps3 or is it just going to be regular edition

PS3 version would save this game if i was SE i would ask Sony to make a CE with the PS3 pack. Seeing how Sony does own a % of SE i don't see why not it going to help boost both there sells for anyone who want a CE version with the PS3.

So it be nice to have "Regular edition,CE, and PS3 CE"

Are the PC and PS3 registration codes platform specific though? I know of a few people who, back during beta, were wanting to buy the PC version, then when the PS3 version was released, give their PC disc to a friend along with their PS3 registration code. It would be rather silly if they did impose restriction like that, but then again, I wouldn't be surprised...

Your character is saved online in SE's data bank, all your doing is accessing that data through your PS3 instead of PC. You will not have to restart fresh.
