Letter to the Producers, part I?!
Having stayed 14 hours to entertain us is certainly no small feat. No one showed signs of wanting to go home when the bell strikes too, everyone stayed very cheerful showing how much passion and pride they have on the game.
Very well done! It makes me very envious of the work environment and all the great people in there. I'm so glad I've ever played 14, and will probably for so many years to come.
Yoshi has been my inspiration since I got started on the game, he seems like a very respectable person and most of all cares about the customers and stayed humble. I've got a story of my own, to be honest, I have always been a gamer and I haven't really thought about my future much until I see ARR's great success. When I see stories of how passionate Yoshi is and how he reaches out to players with the live letters and actually logging in and blending in observing how people play I literally used him as a role model and from then on I've been a much more motivated person in life.
Since I started playing ARR, I've accomplished so much, from actually thinking of being a very casual player to having an end game static who (praise the twelve) has always been able to down the bahamut coils pre-echo, obtained a permanent job, and when asked by managers I always say that my inspiration is Naoki Yoshida, my goal is to be a project manager like him and that I'm a very dedicated FFXIV player, not that people actually know much about it cause I don't think people in my office share the same interest.
A distant dream of mine is to someday take part in the development of a Final Fantasy title, and the way the devs presented themselves today has definitely rekindled that flame for me. I've been a very passionate fan of Final Fantasy and even now when I hear old battle songs I can't help but have a tear or two fall because it feels so awesome, it feels like you relive that moment.
Bravo, ARR Dev team and I wish you great success! I want to keep wandering in Eorzea for many years to come! Please find it in your heart to keep the smiles and passion you guys showed to us today, next year or however many years ARR would stand strong. Thanks for making our lives filled with wonderful recollections and encounters in Eorzea!
(Especially since they announced triple triad -- I've been wanting for that game to come around since I first played it 10 or so years ago! It's like they answered my secret prayer!)
Apologies for going off topic, but I can't help to contain my excitement and passion for the game I end up talking too much about myself.
