Is there a reason to keep using Basic Synthesis once you get Careful Synthesis II?

The only reason I can think of is that there's certain Ixali Beast Tribe quests that require crafting but restrict you from using cross-class abilities. That is the ONLY reason you'd ever want to use Basic Synthesis after getting CSII, imo.
