    How to Incorporate Ingenuity?

Just got GSM 50 a few days ago, and I'm having trouble trying to fit ingenuity, as well as finding the best way to utiltize it.

    I normally go for
    IQ > WN II > SH II > Basic Touch x4 > SH II > Basic Touch x2-4 > Great Strides > Bygrot's > Basic/Careful syn to finish

Would it be wise to use it after the second SH, or maybe stack it with great strides?

It is good for 5 steps, so it totally depends on how many CS you need to do, but it is usually right before BB. In your example, before GS for sure, and possible 2 before of your 2-4 BTs.

Bleh, always get the two names confused. I meant Innovation, the one that boosts control.

That you want it at where you always include your BB, often it is just right before.

Innovation boosts your Control by 50% for three turns. So, the place to use it is where it's most important to have Control: Byregot's Blessing, as has been mentioned. So, modifying your formula above:

    IQ > WN II > SH II > Basic Touch x4 > SH II > Basic Touch x2-4 > Great Strides > Innovation > Ingenuity II > Bygrot's > Basic/Careful syn to finish

The end of my rotation is always:
SH2 > Ing2 > Innovation > Any touch skill I have extra CP for, Hasty Touch if none > Great Strides > Byregot's Blessing > Careful Synth 2 to finish. Gets you one extra touch with a huge boost from Ing2 and Innovation.

I see, and one more question. Ideally how much CP should I be sitting on for 2/3*s? I haven't melded my equips yet, but I plan to in order to meet the stat requirements for tomato relish and eventually the supra materials.

I don't have all the demimateria accessories yet, but I'm sitting at around 319 CP without food.

You should be fully melded for 345 CP even before you start to thinking about those 2-3 star crafts.

Check the forum, most, if not all, of the rotations that gives you 100% HQ WANTs every drop of CP you can grind out of your meld. It is very common for those rotations to demand 380+ CP. This is especially true when you do not have the craft/control to help you along.

I'm gonna have to try that. It gives less of a chance to get a good condition on byregot's than my approach, but will consistently give a slightly higher output (those last few points at the end can really be make or break). Thanks.

I see thanks. And of course other factors like conditions would determine if I should do Bygrot's before or after ingenuity, since as far as I know, craft level doesn't affect quality increase?
