    Here's a temporary fix that worked for me. I just tried logging in this morning and got a (30002) error again instantly, so I guess I need to do the temp fix again >.<;

    Change area and then log out.

    Adjust something in the FFXIV config file and save. (can change it back and save again)

    If you take your computer to a friend I bet it will work. According to my google research SE just hates some ¿internets? and kills connections exactly after 10min or right away xD
    It seems to be a network-related problem on SE's end, unless you have some problem with your internet which I highly doubt.

    edit:
    Try forwarding ports 3993 and 3994.

    I dont think port forwarding is the answer, as this only just started happening about a week after the 1.18 patch, happens 10 seconds in (I can talk to ls members and they can see my writing). Not only that, but I can log in to other characters on my account and they work fine with no DC.. I want to play my main character but it's the only one out of 3 characters that has the dc'ing issue.

    This seems to be a connection issue and forwarding the ports should prevent your router from firewalling them, which might enhance the connections quality.

    Thanks for the help, didn't need to forward ports, logged in just fine today >.> wasted hours trying to figure out something that fixes on it's own.
