Returning after a year-long break -- What's new?

The game hasn't been live for a year yet, so i guess you stopped during beta? (well in a few days it will have, which is why we're having 1yr anniversary events now)
Lots of things have happened since beta....

In the current game, the most popular content are Frontlines, Syrcus Tower (Crystal Tower 2), and Second Coil of Bahamut. Hunts were violently popular until 2.35, now not so much. Also, you're gonna want to get your hands on the newest relic weapon upgrade soon, because supposedly the next Zodiac Weapon chapter's getting released in 2.38, which will effectively make it the most powerful weapon you can possibly get in the game.

That depends on server i guess...Frontlines dont seem to be very popular, on Balmung. there's usually 30+min que time.
Hunts are about the same as before. lots of ppl, early pulls.
Also for most ppl, they aren't gonna get new relic wep before 2.4, when we get 3rd coil. No telling what we need to do, how long it will take to get next relic...it aint gonna be pretty, i can guarantee it.
They haven't even decided on ilv of new relic, so it might not be the most powerful weps; might be fake, like atma. If it is the strongest, it's only going to be so, for a month or 2, until 2.4.
It's going to take waaay to long, to get Novus, for someone who's been away for many months/a year...

the servers on a data center, yah.
i think there's a data center for each region.
so i guess it's more about data center or maybe i'm just playing at a bad time, duno. But most other content is fast ques, so either way, frontlines don't seem so popular.

Well that is most unusual, because I'm on Balmung as well and there is almost never anything short of a full amount of people in Frontlines when I go into it. I've actually seen hunts die down a LOT since 2.35. Maybe we're playing at different times of day? But we are definitely on the same server.
