add battle mounts or other companions besides chocobos please

i was hoping for different mounts you can use in battle besides chocobo this could give new diversity and you could add different things like a class for each type of battle mount like for example the magitek armor could be dps partner and gobbue battle mount could be a tank partner and so on i also think it would be cool if you could level up each battle mount individually so you can use them for different situations and give them each unique abillitys to use this would also increase use of veteran programs and instead of mounts being only a cosmetic use they could be practical also and besides who wouldnt want to fight along side there behemoth

i also think it would be nice if you could fight while on your mount or have options to use to attack while on mounts like you could in magitek armor during the story line

To be honest, I wish that the Path Companions from 1.0 would return as summonable companions, instead of using mounts for that role. Sure my chocobo has been a great help to me in battle, and has saved my furry butt on more than one occasion, but I can't help but feel I'm abusing him sending into battle like that. I miss my sultry GLA companion and her constant innuendos and bickering at sylphs.
