    Yet Another Hunt Post

    OK. So you think you've fixed hunts. Well, you're wrong. There are still some serious problems that you need to address immediately.
    1. Render Priority: Hunt mobs should always have top render priority. ALWAYS. I showed up at an S rank earlier and stood around waiting to be able to do something and never saw the mob until RIGHT WHEN IT DIED. This is completely unacceptable.
    2. FATE Timers: There is absolutely no reason why FATE-based daily mobs should require people to stand around for 1-3 hours waiting for a FATE to spawn so that they can complete 1 part of their daily. Either remove FATE mobs from the daily hunt altogether, or decrease the respawn rate to no more than 30 minutes for these FATES.

    Why these two things are they way they are is beyond me. I missed an S rank because of rendering, then went back to get one of my daily FATE hunts only to show up right as it was killed (by some jerk who wouldn't hold for 10 seconds so I could get there). Seriously, fix this sooner rather than later.

    Also, while you're at it, PLEASE get rid of the absurd and arbitrary 1000 character limit on posts. Especially since you let us edit beyond 1000 characters anyway. What is the point?

    I'm starting to think another fix is in order:

    1. Bring back Darklight gear and Philosophy Tomestones
    2. Replace Allied Seals with Philosophy Tomestones (or have Rank A and S reward seals, dailies reward Philosophy, and weekly does Seals as well).

    Been seeing way too many people skipping item level 60-70 locations and jumping right to 90 before they are ready experience wise. Course we would need more iLvl 70+ content, but I see nothing wrong with that.

    Been waiting over an hour for a FATE in Coerthas to pop so I can do a daily. This is unreal and totally unacceptable. This FATE is called "A Freeze is Coming" and the mob is called "Lutin." The Lodestone says that he only spawns under certain conditions.. but it doesn't say what they are.

    Seriously, this is stupid. If you're going to include FATE mobs in hunts, they CANNOT be mobs that aren't on a regular rotation.

    Thanks! I'll look at it. But it doesn't fix the FATE timer issue.

    This is why I think there should be something similar to FFXI's maat fight to break your limit.

    wanna wear 60 level gear beat this solo.

    want to wear 70 gear beat this solo.

    they were doing that for missions at the beginning.

    Yes for the love of god... please. Beat his solo, don't nerf it, and finally people won't be able to bypass a fight by BUYING their win.

    I have never had a problems with FATE hunts, but it does seem weird that they'd put the mob you have a whole week to find and fight on a 5 seconds respwan and the daily one on a much longer one... if anything it should be the other way around lol.

    As far as the priority render, this is a problem I've seen in other instances as well. Just last night I was doing some FATEs in Cohertas waiting for Roc to spawn and the dragonflies of Judge, Jury and Executioner took around 10 seconds to be visible. I could see everyone else fighting them but they were invisible for me. They keep saying they're fixing it but I stil see people before mobs...

    I'm bumping this because, for real, we need an answer from SE on this. Especially #2. Yet again I'm sitting around for more than 30 minutes waiting for a FATE to spawn. There is nothing else for me to do in the zone, and if I leave I'll probably miss the FATE. This is not playing a game, this is sitting around doing nothing. I'm paying to be logged into your game doing absolutely nothing. This is unacceptable, and yet once this one is done I have to go do another one which might make me wait again.

    Any FATE used in hunts needs to have a quick respawn time. By quick I mean 5-10 minutes, but even 30 minutes would be better than what we're dealing with now.
