I think you misunderstand. When endgame weapons are "the best" like Yoshi said, it means they are. The point that relics become better than High Allagan, is the point when there will be Third Coil Weapons, ie 2.4. Not 2.38.

But you see, that would "break" the precedence they've put forth, regardless of how long it is. That's why I said you misunderstood.

SE already break one long time precedence they have put forth on secondary stats of items of the same IL when Novus was released. Every secondary stat of your gears have a "cost" and at each specified IL, due to this cost, you can only affix a certain combination of a certain amount to it (other than crafted gears that allows you to meld).

Novus, having the ability to go for 44 Crit and 31 Det have broken this long time stat cost rule.

It won't be a surprise that the upgrade in 2.38 will turn out to make it IL115.
