Strange Wanderer's Palace Run

Just finished WP. In the area before the second boss (Bavarois), the room was completely empty except for the two giant Tonberrys. No skellies. No normal Tonberries. Nothing. We thought we were screwed because you need to kill the tons for oils to open the next door. On the way back, we saw 2 oils in a corner where the skellies normally are. Picked them up and proceeded along our way. We killed nothing in this zone at all.

Very strange.

Its an exploit. Back in and it's happening again. More detail when i finish.

OK. Both times, I joined in progress and only the first mobs had been killed. We did the rest of the first area, first boss, next area up to the door after which was the area before the second boss which was empty.

I don't know why I joined in progress the first time. The second time, they said there were 2 bot BLMs in the group that killed only the first mobs (the two tonberries) then "left". I wonder if they are warping to that other area and killing the mobs there for SB or something then leaving. Whatever is happening must be related to the actions the bots are using.

It's only an exploit if you're making it happen on purpose, otherwise it's a bug.

Lots of weird stuff can be found in progress dungeons. I've walked in on dungeons in progress where all 4 players were replacements for the previous group, and we would have to piece together the murder scene of missing enemies and open treasure chests. I had an AK run once where we discovered about a dozen enemies from the previous room STUCK at the bottom of the pit in the Demon Wall room. Apparently they chased a player down there, and couldn't get back to their original positions.

I had an AK run once where we discovered about a dozen enemies from the previous room STUCK at the bottom of the pit in the Demon Wall room. Apparently they chased a player down there, and couldn't get back to their original positions.

I don't know why, but that sounds so creepy .-.
Bunch of monsters basically dead/desperate to get up in a pit >>
